For medical care, we offer three options.
Direct Primary Care:
Direct Primary Care is Primary Care billed on a subscription model outside of medical insurance. What this allows for is for Primary Care as it should be. You and your doctor are in direct communication and you’ll have easy access with a phone, number to text, and email. It provides more availability and accessibility for appointments, longer more relaxed appointment times, and even home visits locally. It affords the opportunity to develop a relationship with your doctor who can help you achieve your health goals. Not limited by insurance, allows more flexibility with care, and more time allows Primary Care Doctors to practice medicine the way we know how to and limit knee-jerk referrals to specialists and over-tesing.
Fee For Service & Fill-in-the-Gaps Care:
This is an option to book medical appointments based on time. This is an option if you want to see a doctor for whatever reason. Perhaps you can’t get in to see your primary care physician, you're in New York for a short time and need medical care, you’re curious about another evaluation, or have an acute medical need but don’t want to go to an urgent care center, you can book an appointment for your needs. As we are cash-based, if you don’t have insurance, it is likely less expensive than seeking care elsewhere.
Care Packages tailored to your needs:
For patients with chronic medical problems to include headache and migraine, autoimmunity, Long COVID, she can work with you to incorporate her different skills to help reduce your symptoms.

What is Direct Primary Care or DPC?
Direct because it takes out the middle of insurance companies
Care as it intentionally brings back the care to Primary Care
The goal of Direct Primary Care is to provide Primary Care as most of us Primary Care Docs had hoped it would be. We know our patients well, we have time to manage our patients and provide tailored care specific to the patients needs. We work as their point person for their health with a goal to reduce procedures, reduce referrals and to optimize our patients health so they can have more fulfilling lives. And yet functioning as a Primary Care Physician in our current medical model did not allow me to practice to my full capacity. I loved knowing my patients and caring for them, but I carried with me a pervasive guilt that I wasn’t providing the care for in the way that I wanted to.
DIrect Primary Care doesn’t work with insurance. It is a model of subscription just like a gym membership or a streaming service. DPC is also not an insurance plan; it is recommended patients should continue to have insurance for labs, medications, emergency care, imaging and specialists,
What does it provide? With DPC, doctors work with significantly fewer patients. This translates to longer, and easier to schedule appointments, more direct accessibility for you to me and me to you, greater ease of care and flexibility. Working outside the insurance model means that I can provide medical care to you differently. You can see me as little or as much (within reason) as you need to. My appointment times are longer in general and when appropriate some issues can be handled via telephone or virtually. There will be more accessibility for appointments and you’ll have a phone number to text me directly for communication. I’ll have a better sense of you and your body to know when we can handle things virtually or via in person would be better. We can chat by phone to figure that out. The goal is better, easier, more efficient care with more effective communication and connection in an atmosphere that is more relaxed.
